Warranties

All our products are manufactured to the highest quality in our dedicated factories. A 1-year warranty is offered on all bedroom furniture ranges. Please contact our sales or customer service team for further information on individual products. Please Click Here to email us.
All products are warranted against manufacturing defects, except for all moving parts (mechanisms, castors, drawers) and seating upholstery which are subject to usage related wear and tear. Finishing Touches International Ltd reserves the right not to apply the warranty in cases of inappropriate use or when the products has been tampered with by a third party or interventions by non-authorised personnel.

Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Finishing Touches International Ltd. We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details. Fraud checks may be conducted on our orders. This involves checks on details provided during the order process including the address details. This may involve your details being passed to a 3rd party fraud checking company. On occasion we may ask for additional information in order to process your order. We will conduct this process as quickly as possible however on occasion dispatch of goods may be delayed.

Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Title to any products you order on this website shall pass to you on delivery of the products, provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products.

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates but exclude delivery charges unless expressly stated otherwise.

Ordering Errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on "submit" or "make payment" on the final page of our ordering process.

Delivery Times and Rates

The majority of our products are usually despatched within 48 hours of placing an order and should be received within 3-5 working days. Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and cannot be refunded. Your delivery charges will be clearly indicated at checkout. NEXT DAY deliveries are NOT possible to the following Postcodes: AB31-38, AB41-56, FK19-21, HS, IV1, IV3-56, and PH3 . For these and for bulkier/heavier items, a 2-3 day delivery service will be provided.

Does Finishing Touches International Ltd have a retail shop/store?

Finishing Touches International Ltd does not currently have a retail store. We sell online which gives you more convenience and cheaper prices!

Acknowledgement and Acceptance of your Order

We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and email you again to confirm details. The receipt of an order number or an email order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Finishing Touches International Ltd reserves the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity on any item and/or to refuse service to any customer. Verification of information may be required prior to the acceptance of any order. Prices and availability of products on this Site are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected as soon as they are discovered and Finishing Touches International Ltd reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions (including after an order has been submitted). Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered.

Changing or cancelling orders

In the first instance please Click Here to email us with your change / cancellation details. Provided your order has not left our warehouse then at any time prior to its despatch you can amend/cancel free of charge. If the order has been despatched or you have received the order and you wish to change/cancel goods we will apply a charge based upon the direct cost to recover and/or redeliver goods plus administration of £50 per item.
If you refuse the delivery of an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy and you will be responsible for the costs of carriage and administration at a charge of £50 per item.
Refunds will be credited to your card within 30 days of us receiving back your goods, minus costs of carriage and administration.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT ITEMS BACK AND ISSUE REFUNDS FOR THE COST OF THE GOODS PROVIDING THAT:

  • THE ITEMS HAVE NOT BEEN ASSEMBLED OR MODIFIED
  • THEY ARE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING WHICH ENSURES THEY ARE RECEIVED BACK IN A SALEABLE CONDITION
  • A FULLY COMPLETED RETURNS FORM IS RETURNED WITH THE ITEMS WHICH MUST BE CONTAINED IN AN ENVELOPE CLEARLY IDENTIFIED AS "RETURNS FORM" AND FIXED SECURELY TO ONE OF THE BOXES

Returns Policy

Delivery discrepancies:
Any discrepancies must be reported as soon as it is reasonable after delivery, preferably within 24hrs. On arrival, if packaging appears damaged it is recommended that this is marked on the delivery note before you sign.

Missing items:

On Delivery: Should an item be missed or appear not delivered then we request that you notify us as soon as possible, preferably within 24hrs of initial receipt of delivery.

On Assembly: Should a part appear missing from an item please report the item that is missing the part, along with a description of the part you believe to be missing.

On both the above instances, replacement goods will be despatched ASAP.

Faulty goods:

Damages: our products are well packaged to withstand damage during transit. However, please note the important information below:

  • Even if the package appears only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This is VERY important. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery of the package. The damaged package will be returned to us and we will send you a new one. If you refuse delivery, please notify us as soon as is reasonable after the delivery, but within 24 hours, so that we can expect the return shipment.
  • If you have already accepted the package and find that parts are missing or damaged, please contact us right away and we will ship you the replacement parts free of charge. If we cannot replace the parts, we will have the carrier pick up the package and we will send you a replacement.

Speed matters since most carriers only let us file freight claims within 48 hours of delivery.
All returned products should be in the original packaging.
Under Warranty:In the first instance report the fault to us with a full description of the alleged fault, we will then arrange for a technician to attend and either rectify the fault on site or advise on action needed to remedy. If the fault is deemed a manufacturers fault and the item is under guarantee, then we will replace the faulty item FOC.

Unwanted goods / wrongly ordered:

We hope that you are 100% satisfied with the items we have supplied you with. In the unlikely event that you wish to change your mind, however, we are pleased to offer you a 7 Day Cool Off period where items can be returned for a full refund. Please note that this 7-Day Cool Off period commences from the day after receipt of the goods. This falls under our standard return policy and you will be responsible for the costs of carriage and administration at a charge of £50 per item. Refunds will be credited to your card within 30 days of us receiving back your goods, minus costs of carriage and administration.

This is in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Export Restrictions

We will specify any export restrictions that apply on any of our products on individual product listings. Any export restrictions will also be clearly indicated at checkout. If goods have been purchased and are for export purposes, then it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that the goods have been received in good condition and are correct in every respect. If they are not then to notify the sender within 30 days of receipt. We cannot be responsible for any claim received for goods which have been shipped outwith the United Kingdom.

Gift Wrapping

We are unable to offer a gift wrapping service at present.

Exclusions of Liability

Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Finishing Touches International Ltd or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Changes to Legal Notices

We reserve the right to change these terms & conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.

Use of this Website from outside the UK

Finishing Touches International Ltd makes no representation that any products or services referred to in the materials on this website are appropriate for use, or available in other locations. Those who choose to access this site from other locations are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.

Law, Jurisdiction and Language

This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with UK Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK. All contracts are concluded in English.
